The center advocates equal rights and equal social status for women in the Bashkortostan Republic. It conducts sociological research on women in Bashkortostan society, and publishes a newsletter of rights violations and events of the both the local and worldwide feminist movement. Currently, the group is working to establish professional re-training courses for unemployed women and a program to encourage entrepreneurship among women.
