The Araks Society is dedicated to the study and preservation of Armenian language, literature, and cultural traditions. It unites people of Armenian ancestry from the Ryazan area but also welcomes others with an interest in Armenian culture. Since 1994, the society has operated an Armenian language school in Ryazan and has published materials in Armenian.
