Siberian Initiative is a non-governmental, noncommercial organization committed to the prevention and reduction of the epidemic of a HIV-infection through informational, training and consulting projects.Today the organization consists of:
Information Services
- a team of the qualified experts;
- more than 200 volunteers;
- more than 1500 persons trained under the programs of the organization;
- a network of representations in cities of Altay territory;
- unique informational-methodical materials on guards of health and rights of the person;
- organizing international and Russian conferences, symposiums, seminars, trainings for noncommercial and state organizations;
- representing in Altay territory Peer Education Program International ;
- participation in the programs on development of noncommercial sector of Siberia.
We have collected for you in our library more than 3,000 books, magazines, brochures, booklets, and methodical manuals on health, HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, sexuality, drug addiction, patient's rights, psychology, and the noncommercial sector.

Training Services
The team of the qualified trainers will help to you to lead seminars and training for varied audiences using the newest techniques on these themes:
Consulting Services
- culture of health;
- the Genera items of information about HIV/AIDS, other sexually transmitted diseases, and their prevention;
- prevention of drug addictions, including alcoholism and smoking;
- planning and organization of programs of harm reduction for the intravenous drug users;
- planning and organization of the programs by a principle of peer-education;
- planning and realization of the volunteers programs;
- patient's rights in connection with HIV/AIDS;
- psyhological support of HIV-infected people, their relatives and friends;
- the theory and practice of telephone consultation;
- planning of activity and success of noncommercial organizations.
The professional advisers and volunteers, past special preparation and training, will give the information and help to the people living with HIV-infection/AIDS, their friends and relatives.
The advices are always confidential and, at your desire, are anonymous. We shall help to overcome stress, to find real ways of an output from problems and to accept the adequate decisions.
