The Orthodox Union of the Disabled was founded in 1993 and has four full time staff, 10 volunteers and 76 members consisting of "believers and disabled." Activities of the organization include providing fincancial and food aid to members. The union would like to create a production/rehabilitation center for people with disabilities in Vladivostok as well as a boarding house for the needy.
