The VITORUL Foundation is composed of a group of young political scientists and researchers who represent non-governmental organizations in Moldova. Since June 1993 the group has initiated several programs aimed at developing a new sense of responsibility for politicians, public servants and citizens in the field of public administration and civic education. In cooperation with the Foundation for Political Culture, the group publishes a journal, "Arena Politicii," which focuses on the process of political transition Moldova is now undergoing.VIITORUL is currently engaged in a one year project "Transparency of Public Institutions" which aims to assess the public need for greater transparency of state and public authorities. A special emphasis will be placed on promoting NGOs that serve as intermediaries and a source of dialogue between rulers and voters.
The Foundation is interested in learning about organizations and resources that would be helpful in its work for transparency of government in Moldova.
