Pro-Business Nord

National Center for Business and Democratic Development "Pro-Business Nord" is a non-profit Non-Government Organization (NGO). The Center's mission is to comprehensively assist in the growth of small and medium sized businesses in accordance with world business standards. We support, inspire and develop the potential of people and organizations in business through consulting, training, managerial studies and personal advice, and we support the integration of Moldavian business with international markets.

"PRO-BUSINESS NORD" is a member of National Business Associations network, created within the bounds of NEWBIZNET Project (Business Associations Program) to support the small and medium business undertakings (the Ukraine, Moldova) with The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) assistance.

The Centre for Business and Democratic Development "Pro-Business Nord" is directed toward constructive co-operation with NGOs, State structures, businessmen, Investment industries and Public associations in our region and in Moldavia. Our status gives us possibilities to take part in working up and realisation of various regional programs.

For example, several actions that are being put into practice under "PRO-BUSINESS NORD" control are approved by the Government of Balti District and included into "The Program of Supporting Small Business for 2000 Year in Balti District".

Also the main objectives of our work are:

• assistance in the Civil society development;
• assistance in the creation and development of an effective educational, training and retraining system of highly qualified people to meet the demand of the market economy;
• assistance in the development of management consultancy;
• economic and social rights protection.
• training economists in environmental problems.
