The Women's League of Creative Initiative of Kyrgyzstan (WLCI) was created in January of 1995 to support, develop, and sustain the talent and activities of the artists of Kyrgyzstan, and to promote cross-cultural art education between Kyrgyzstan and the rest of the world. Specific activities of the WLCI include: supporting the participation of Kyrgyz artists and art in international exhibitions, conducting exhibitions, symposiums and competitions in Kyrgyzstan; creating galleries for contemporary artists, and establishing a database of cultural programs.
