The "Tree of Life" Human Development Center was established in 1996 and describes its main objective as "a new paradigm of human development...living in harmony with the environment." The center carries out projects in various spheres, including women's rights, democratic development, environmental protection, education, and unemployment. It works with rural women, farmers, refugees, the unemployed, and students.

Tree of Life has conducted a number of projects including:

Tree of Life's future plans include establishing a "Survival School" to help end poverty and unemployment for women.
