Shalom Plans and implements programs aimed at the protection and the use of th Jewish language as the primary language among Jews. Those programs include study of the history, culture and art of the Jewish people, and revival of the handcraft industries of Kazak Jews. Shalom works to protect Jews' rights, and to withstand anti-Semitism in all forms. The Center seeks cooperation with foreign NGOs int he spheres of education, culture, medicine, religion, and family contacts.
