NAMI was established as a "legal resource center" by the Association of Investment Funds. It seeks to develop a Kazak investment market and cultivate the "ethical behavior"of market participants. NAMI publishes the "Invest-Inform" newspaper, featuring information on Kazakstan's economic situation, and operates offices in nine cities across the country.
A print version of much of the information contained in this Central Asian Third Sector Organizations section can be found in Civil Society in Central Asia (Seattle: University of Washington Press, 1999).
