Information and Research Center for Civic Education

The center was created in November 1996 by a group of teachers seeking to introduce civic education courses to Kazakstan's educational system -- from pre-school to university levels. The center develops civics curricula and trains educators to effectively teach and develop people's understanding of the value of a civil society and democracy.
