IBS was established in 1992 upon the initiative of the World Bank. IBS is a non-governmental non-profit higher educational institution, which provides courses in finance, credit, accounting and auditing, international economics, information systems. IBS currently has 700 students enrolled and offers B.B.A and M.B.A degrees. Their department of professional training & consulting provides local and international businesses and public organizations with short-term and long-term training courses. IBS is a leader among Kazakstan's business schools in quality of teaching, learning, and consulting.
