Established in 1995 to develop activities for the young children of the small village of Dzhvari, and to involve them more fully in their own education. Dzhvari recently established a full-time eco-school/museum (focusing on local cultural and environmental traditions). It is also active in bringing attention to the environmental and cultural impact of the development of large hydroelectric dams in Georgia.
