The National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI) has conducted programs in Armenia since mid-1995 through a small office in Yerevan. For the past four years, NDI has worked with Armenia's democratic political parties, with the objective of making them more effective, competitive, and sustainable organizations. The Institute has also supported the efforts of civic organizations to increase public participation in the political process.
