Until 1996 Bill Fick worked for IREX in Russia, helping to develop their Internet programs in the NIS. Since mid-1996 he has been working with a company called Samovar Internet Consulting, LLC (http://www.samovar.ru), and writing a weekly column for The Moscow Times, titled Webwatch.

Fick recently reported that a new section of Samovar’s website contains an ever-growing collection of links to articles and other resources related to development of the Internet in Russia, including an archive of his weekly “Webwatch” column.
