PSEES Internships Guide -- http://users.ox.ac.uk/~sant0168/guide/frames.htm

The Oxford Post-Soviet and East European Studies Internship Resources Guide is now online. The Guide represents the collective efforts of numerous individuals and organizations over several months. The result, according to the Guide/Web site administrator Paul Goode, is the first ever consolidated list of contacts for people interested in locating an internship with an organization that is located in, or does work related to, the former Soviet Union and East Europe. Contacts are categorized by country and by field of interest. There is a large section concerning study abroad/exchange opportunities, as well.

A non frames version is in the works, but for the moment users will need a frames capable browser to view the site. (If you visit a Web site and see a page with text in one frame, or box, which can be scrolled independently of text in another frame, you are using a frames-capable browser.)

The Guide is not for sale, and there are no plans at present to produce a hard copy of it. Since the Oxford server often is overloaded, users are asked to access it after 5 pm GMT (noon in New York).

Goode states that there is always room for more entries. If an organization or institution would like to host an intern, please contact him with details. Goode is especially keen to expand the study abroad/exchange opportunities section. Inclusion in the Guide is free of charge, and does not require any formal partnership agreement.

Those having comments or suggestions, or knowing of organizations that would be willing to host an intern, should contact Paul Goode at using the address above.
