ISAR Kyiv Informational Bulletin

Last fall ISAR's Kyiv office began publish-ing a monthly bulletin for (mostly environ-mental) NGOs in Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine. The information provided in the bulletin is submitted by NGOs and includes detailed contact information. The bulletin contains eight sections:

  1. information on upcoming conferences, conventions and seminars;
  2. activity and event updates from organizations;
  3. requests for cooperation;
  4. newly available reference material;
  5. research and educational programs;
  6. opportunities for financial and technical support;
  7. publications; and
  8. announcements.
The bulletin is in Russian only and is distributed within the western NIS by postal mail and by e-mail at the end of each month. Subscribers outside the western NIS can receive the bulletin by e-mail. The e-mail version uses Cyrillic fonts for DOS and comes Uuencoded. The past several issues have ranged in size from 44-75 KB.
