Even if you only have access to e-mail, you can still access the World Wide Web, Usenet, FTP, and the other Internet technologies. Accessing The Internet By E-Mail: Doctor Bob's Guide to Offline Internet Access, now in its 7th edition, provides step-by-step instructions for navigating the whole Internet and retrieving documents. The only caveat we would add to Dr. Bob's guide is that the computers he lists for retrieving World Wide Web documents sometimes become overloaded and are shut down by their administrators.
