E-mail Discussion List for Russian-Language Mass Media

A Russian-language electronic mail discussion list that automatically distributes information between journalists and media organizations began operating May 21, 1996. Known as RJOUR-L, the message list enables Russian journalists and media organizations to post announcements, requests for information, and transmit media-related information in Russian for distribution to members of the list. The list is sponsored by the International Research and Exchanges Board (IREX) and the USIA Media Assistance Clearinghouse. Subscription to the list is free.

Conferences, seminars, internships and other information from the USIA Media Assistance Clearinghouse and other organizations will be regularly posted to the list.

The list is strictly Russian-language only. Selected postings from the list will be translated from time to time and distributed via the FSUMedia and EEMedia discussion lists. Similarly, selected postings from these and other lists, as well as notices from various sources will be translated and posted to RJOUR-L from time to time.

3. In MESSAGE: SUBSCRIBE RJOUR-L Your E-Mail Address
4. Then SEND the mail
