Staff: 22 full-time, 7 part-timeEstuar Foundation was established in 1993 by the Romanian League for Mental Health and the Scottish Association Penumbra. Its mission is to provide social options and alternatives for the social reintegration of adults with mental health problems. Estuar Foundation's past and present programs: Supported Accommodation - 4 flats in Bucharest where a team of 5 support workers are assisting 12 tenants (people with long-term mental health problems) Community Centre Bucharest - including drop-in centre, home care,social canteen, advocacy and legal advice service, laundry service, couselling, suport and information for users and caregivers, self-help groups, vocational training, ergotherapy, theatre club, etc. "Estuarul" Magazine - a monthly publication produced and distributed exclusively by people with mental health problems. Contact Point Cluj - a drop-in Center in the N-W part of Romania Estuar Foundation is assisting annually over 1300 people with mental health problems!
Estuar Foundation is very interested in networking with other organizations and finding funding opportunities for its projects.
