Purpose: To ensure that equality between men and women and a gender perspective is present during the law-making process and the application of the law in Poland.

Activities: Monitoring and analyzing existing and proposed legislation and policy from a gender perspective, conducting research, developing analyses, and proposing legislation on gender equality and issues of importance to women, monitoring the implementation of international conventions and agreements signed by Poland which specifically concern women, educating society about gender equality, and providing legal counseling and pyschological support to women who are victims of discrimination and violence.
