Founded in 1995, the mission of the Czech Center New York is to spread the awareness of the Czech Republic in the United States. The Center organizes cultural events in the areas of photography, painting, music, literature and sculpture. An economic advisor is on hand to provide information to those interested in investement and trade with the Czech Republic. A representative of the Czech Tourist Authority provides general tourist information to those travelling to the Czech Republic.
