The Journalists for Tolerance Foundation is a non-profit organization working for more tolerance and awareness of the cultural and ethnic differences in Bulgaria. Its target group are the journalists and their audience - the general public.Since March 1997 "Journalists for Tolerance" has worked on the project "Co-operation for Tolerance," which is funded by the Dutch foundation NOVIB. As part of this project the foundation is publishing the "Tolerance" monthly newsletter, which contains reports and interviews on all aspects of minority issues. "Tolerance" is distributed to all regional newspapers in Bulgaria so that editors can republish or use the articles for free. The newsletter is also distributed among NGOs, foreign embassies, prominent intellectuals, politicians, and journalists.
