Heriot-Watt University offers a unique MBA that is internationally recognized, can be completed entirely by self-paced distance
learning, and does not require a GMAT or Bachelor's degree to
begin. Originally established in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1821,
Heriot-Watt is regarded as one of Europe's preeminent research
and technical universities. More than 10,000 students study on
campus for their Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degrees,
while thousands more in over 150 countries are studying for their
MBA through distance learning.
How the Program Works:
Nine courses are required to earn the MBA, but one or two may be waived if you have taken comparable courses at another school or have certain credentials. Each course was written specifically for this program by prominent faculty at major U.S. and European universities. There are no papers, assignments, or thesis, only a final examination for each course. Exams are given twice a year at more than 400 locations worldwide. Most students plan to take 18 to 36 months to complete the MBA.
