Russian Civic NGOs


The National Democratic Institute for International Affairs in Washington, DC, affiliated with the Democratic Party, has for several years managed a large-scale technical assistance program to local governments in Russia. These have included consultations between NDI local government experts as well as conferences and seminars focusing on the legal and financial framework of local government. To give an idea of the range of organizations involved in such a program, here are some representative examples of participants:
