Center for Civil Society International announces publication of the second edition of its popular “Internet Dlya Zhurnalistov” (The Internet for Journal-ists). This edition, prepared for the New Media for a New World 1996 conference in Vladivostok in October, is a revised and expanded version of the edition first produced for the NMNW ‘95 conference in Moscow. Fifty pages in length, the second edition provides, among other things, short descriptions and the URLs for more than 100 Web sites and listservs of possible interest to Russian-speaking journalists based in the NIS. While many sites are based in the U.S. and Western Europe, a rapidly increasing
number will be found in Russia and other countries of the NIS.
The second edition is available from CCSI for $5, plus $4 postage and handling. It is also available through Wordsmiths in Moscow. Ordering information for Wordsmiths follows:
