(Legal Theory and Practice in the Mass Media)

Beginning with the September issue, this monthly bulletin has doubled its volume and in the next months it will have national supplements from former Soviet republics (Baltics, Transcaucasia, Belarus, Ukraine, Central Asian repub-lics and Moldova). The supplements are to be produced locally for the local audience (100-500 copies) as well as in Russian in Moscow. Main topics will be laws, drafts, statutes, the formal side of operations, law suits, etc., regarding the mass media. One to four issues are to be produced per year. Essays in the September  issue include: 

• Full text of the Russian Mass  Media Law (1991) with amendments and alterations.
  
• The Central Election Commission’s Regulations on the election campaign coverage in state-run mass media of September 20, 1995. 
  
• Paul Greenberg (Internews) on  non-state broadcasting in Transcaucasia.
