Torgovlya s Amerikoi is a Russian-language guide to financial and technical assistance programs in the NIS that are partially or totally funded by the U.S. Government. This 95-page booklet describes twenty-two major programs classified by three major categories:

U.S. Government Export and Business Facilitation Programs in the NIS;

U.S. Government Financing Programs in the NIS; and

Technical Assistance and Exchange Programs.
An especially useful section of the 18-page Appendix is the Core Commercial Library,(Kratkyi Perechen' Americanskikh Commercheskikh spravochnikov), which lists key reference works and provides ordering information. Examples include Corptech,’Corporate Technology Directory; the Journal of Commerce’s Directory of U.S. Importers and Exporters; Dun and Bradstreet’s Million Dollar Directory; Gale’s Encyclopedia of Associations; Columbia Books’ National Trade and Professional Associations of the U.S.; Standar d and Poor’s Register; Thomas’ Food Industry Register and Register of American Manufacturers; and Bill Communications’ Trade Shows and Exhibits Schedule.
