Established in late 1994, the Ukrainian Student Association in the USA (USA/USA) operates a partnership through offices in New York and Kyiv. In 1996, they became a program under the Coordinating Committee to Aid Ukraine, Inc which gave them 501(c)3 status. They are looking for funding to maintain their program, and depend exclusively upon contributions to fund their work. The organization also intends to register in Ukraine as an official educational organization.

The goals of the USA/USA organization include:

• developing an e-mail network of Ukrainian students and scholars abroad
• programs to network alumni of English-language universities in Ukraine
• holding an annual "academic workshop" in Kyiv
• developing a database of English-language secondary schools in Ukraine

Anybody wishing to assist USA/USA or interested in participating in its programs, should write to the organization using the information provided above.
