Citizens Democracy Corps


CDC's Business Entrepreneur Program places Americans with significant business experience in small and medium sized firms in the NIS. Robert Jacoby, the program's Moscow coordi-nator, estimates that for every ten firms that request a volunteer, one match is made. CDC hopes to place 80 volunteers, who serve for up to 12 months, in the next year. For the moment Americans are placed with firms in the regions where CDC has field offices: Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia, and Kiev, Ukraine. Americans interested in volunteering should contact CDC's Washington office: (800) 394-1945. NIS firms that would like to host a volunteer should contact CDC's field offices:
