In August 1992, Dr. Sherry L. Mueller and Alexander Patico of the Institute of International Education produced a "working document" titled Resources for NGO Development. This useful reference tool contains sections on non-profit governance; administration and management; funding and finance; advocacy, public relations and public education; training opportunities; plus information on organizations, databases and directories offering general assistance in the field of nonprofits. Patico and Mueller are now planning to put out a revised version of the 1992 "working document," tailored to the needs of people working in Central and Eastern Europe and the NIS. Those interested in obtaining the 1992 document and/or contributing an item or two to the new one should write or call Patico at IIE address above.
