International Seminar on Youth Initiatives on the Boundary of Centuries: Traditional Values. Legal State. Civil Society

During the work of the seminar following problems are planned to be discussed:

• value orientations of youth in the conditions of transformation in the society;
• formation of the youth subculture in post- communist countries;
• Euroregional problems of youth;
• youth and state: social guarantees, civil position, legal conscience;
• conflict potential of youth and transformation process: constructive and destructive aspects;
• youth and religion: interconfessional communications within polyethnic society;
• youth politics: problems and perspectives;
• the problem of leadership among the youth: world experience and national traditions;
• defiant behavior of the young;
• youth in science and creation: a step towards the 21st century
• youth and environment: formation of environmental values

Official languages of the seminar: English, Russian, Ukrainian.

Registration fee will make 50 USD, accomodation costs 40 - 100 USD (according to the class of a hotel). Registration fee must be paid upon arrival.

To participate in the seminar you should send the filled registration form and a typed 1-page summary of your paper (2 copies) before April, 1, 1998, to the science chair of the seminar - Dr. Tatiana Senyushkina at the address above.
