International Women In Science And Engineering (IWISE) Leadership Program
The International Women in Science and Engineering (IWISE) Leadership
Program will bring 15-20 women scientists from developing or
transitional countries to the United States from 14 June to 6 August

IWISE promotes the professional growth of international women
scientists through:
- Support of their research
- Leadership training
- Technical assistance for projects to be conducted in their
home countries
IWISE participants will work with a scientist or engineer at Iowa
State University or the University of Iowa on research projects of
mutual interest. They will also attend a series of leadership
seminars and workshops, and develop grant proposals to support their
research upon returning home. IWISE will support travel expenses
from the home country and living expenses in the United States.
