Social Assistance Specialists-Russia at Urban Institute

 

The Urban Institute, a non-profit policy and research organization in Washington, DC, is seeking mid- and senior-level social assistance program specialists for short- and long-term assignments in Russia. Desired experience includes design and/or administration of social assistance programs, unemployment/ social insurance programs, welfare/family assistance, pensions, or other poverty/subsidy programs.

These positions require an advanced relevant degree and a minimum of 5 years professional experience. Experience working in the Former Soviet Union and/or Central Europe for USAID or the World Bank and Russian language skills preferred. The ideal candidates will have good written and oral communications skills, and outstanding management and interpersonal skills.
