Duties: Duties will vary according to the intern's interests and skills.Reporting: Cover Congressional testimony and hearings on Capitol Hill; track U.S. Government statements and analyses of current political events in Washington; compile reports and synopses.
Research: Assist in research for special projects and Foundation development initiatives; respond to research questions from Ukraine.
Communications: Support public relations activities by writing press releases and news stories; assist with development of World Wide Web site.
Administrative: Assist in database management; provide general office support.
Requirements: Undergraduate or graduate student with strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Undergraduate or graduate student in Political Science, Public Administration, History, International or East European Studies, or related field. The Foundation may be able to accommodate project-specific internship for students depending on the topic area. Internships are non-paid.
