Director of Studies, Pro Didactica Educational Center Language School Chisinau, MoldovaTeach 21 contact hours per week in Intensive Adult English Program (adults 16+) or 21 hours per week in English for Children program.
A portion of the 21 hours per week includes training local teachers and performing administrative duties.
Qualifications: MA in TESOL or related field, 2 years minimum teaching experience, native-level fluency in English. Teacher training experience, ability to teach ESP courses (TOEFL/Business), and experience teaching abroad preferred.
Salary: Local salary $180 per month in Moldovan Lei. $5,500 hard currency supplement; up to $2,000 end of contract bonus.
Benefits: Round-trip airfare (up to $1,500), health insurance, furnished apartment, paid utilities (except phone and cable t.v.), 3 weeks paid vacation (2 weeks in December-January, one week in March or April), reimbursement of cost of Moldovan visa.
Deadline: May 1, 2000 (but will begin application review in April).
