Since 1994 five major Italian universities (Parma, Bocconi, Bologna, Trento and Venice) have set themselves the goal of studying and analysing the conditions for the development of the non-profit sector in Italy.
The role of this sector seems to be on the growth in all the social, cultural, environmental and civil sectors. Therefore, data on information, knowledge and experience has been gathered and elaborated in regards to these issues. This has consequently led to the definition of specific management models and particular management tools.
For this very reason, the Parma Congress aims at highlighting the evolutionary dynamics of the non-profit sector in our country, keeping in mind needs in terms of sustaining policy choices, for the elaboration of interpretative charts and proposal plans for its economy and management, for the identification of more efficacious and efficient operating modalities, for the development of management skills and for possible future international confrontation.
Thus, this congress aims at highlighting the most advanced experiences in regards to this issue, by presenting and discussing some cases, with the support of both Italian and international experts.
The following four aspects are the points of most interest that we would like to gather information and opinions on through our call for papers:
