A vacancy currently exists in the Accountancy Section of the Administration and Finance Department, OHR Sarajevo, for a suitably qualified Finance Assistant.General Responsibilities
Working in accordance with the OHR Financial policies, the Finance Assistant is responsible for: processing all travel claims, expense reports, imprest funds, consultancy fee claims and OHR credit cards; preparing invoices and following up on payments, training on and checking the imprest funds under the control of Sarajevo office and liaising with individuals, departments and approval officers.
Additionally he/she will prepare reports and analysis of various internal expenditures and assist the Bookkeepers with data entry during leave periods.
The successful candidate will be a well-organised, well-motivated individual, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
Requirements
Good level of spoken and written English and good computer skills essential. Previous work experience in a similar field with the international community essential. Ability to work well alone but also as part of a team. Any personnel with the above qualifications should provide (in English) a CV with a one-page cover letter and references to the following:
