Executive DirectorNPI is an independent Russian non-profit organization that supports Russian media - particularly regional newspapers - with training, publications, events, information, and a range of other services. The Executive Director will manage a staff of 50 at 6 offices throughout Russia.
Job description:
Qualifications needed:
- management of NPI assistance projects;
- representation of NPI among potential partners and funders;
- strategic planning;
- financial management of NPI;
- oversight of NPI fundraising activities;
Established by New York University in 1992, NPI incorporates a number of programmatic departments:
- 10 years management experience;
- extensive experience in media and/or non-profit sector;
- native Russian language ability and fluent English;
- in-depth knowledge of the media, preferably newspapers;
- commitment to media independence.
