Nonproliferation Fellowships/Sabbatical Support

 

The Center for Nonproliferation Studies invites applications for the 2000-2001 postdoctoral/sabbatical fellows program. During their year in residence, fellows will be expected to: 1) publish a significant work in the field of nuclear, biological or chemical weapons proliferation or related delivery systems and strategies for their control; and 2) participate in the general research activities of the Center.

The search is open in regard to topic and area, and is open to citizens of any country, but candidates whose research emphasizes issues related to nonproliferation in the Middle East, South Asia, or East Asia are especially encouraged to apply. Ph.D. must be in hand before arrival.

The salary for postdoctoral fellows will be $34,000 plus benefits and a relocation allowance. Sabbatical support is negotiable.
