Minsk, Republic of BelarusThe Belarussian Research Center of Gender Problems invites all interested scholars to participate in this conference, to share ideas and experiences with Belarussian scholars, as well as with scientists from the Russian Federation and other NIS countries.
The main sections of the conference are:
1. Social and Economic Contribution of Women and Men in the Sustainable Development of Society: problems, contradictions, perspectives.
The conference is being organized in cooperation with State Committee on Youth Affairs of Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Social Protection of Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Labour of Republic of Belarus, Belarussian Commercial University of Management.2. Social and Economic Interests of Youth: Formation and Realization in the System of Sustainable Development of Society
3. Social and Economic Requirements of Elderly People in the System of Sustainable Development of Society
4. Social and Legal Status of Individuals and the Problems of Development on the Base of Gender Approach.
The Belarussian Research Center of Gender Problems will cover transportation expenses in Minsk, plus airport charter, and food expenses. Information about accomodations will be sent later.
The Bealrussian Scientific Research Center of Gender Problems was established in 1998 in Minsk. One of the main aims of the center is to establish contacts between Belarussian and foreign universities and gender research centers. The center's research is focused on such issues as:
