Dear colleagues!Women representatives of the non-governmental organization the Kazakhstan Women's Information Network (KWIN) address you.
We are women from 8 female NGOs from different locales of Kazakhstan, which came to the necessity of joint cooperation and operating in a uniform information space with the purpose of lobbying concerns of the Women.
We have poor experience of network operation, and a weak material and technical base; most of us are compelled or are unemployed. But all of us are consolidated by unshakable desire to change the provision of things: to improve the provision the woman, children, groups of the population socially disallowed by company.
We know by what paths and methods it is possible concretely to help most...Each of our NGO members is engaged in concrete businesses for herself in locale, city, area. Thus, the NGO from Ust-Kamenogorsk The Woman of the XXIst century and NGO from Semipalatinsk Soyuz of the Women and children attempt to help the women suffering from nuclear-weapon tests on Semipalatinsk nuclear Polygon. The NGO from Kokshetay The Feminist League actively struggles for the rights of the women to be honestly elected in organs of the local authority, and carries out educational programs directed against violence in the youth environment. The NGO from Kyzil-Orda The Women's Information Centre has forced the re-opening of the facility for 25 children, whose parents are on compulsory medical treatment...
That is, each separately taken NGO works actively enough, but all of them have not enough material, technical and information support. For reaching the purposes of strengthening and development it is necessary for each separate NGO to join together efforts, to be consolidated in the uniform Women's Network. We have no sufficient experience of network operation much should learn, but main solution have accepted all solidly--it is necessary to join together efforts in scrambling for the rights, for worthy existence.
We have developed the particular program of strengthening, maintaining and development of the Kazakhstan Women's Information Network. Schematically this program to be divided into following steps:
For reaching these objectives we need financial, information and educational support. The wide experience of operation of female organizations on themes touching the women is indispensable for us: the rights of women, gender derivation, networking, modern technologies, remote training, computer conferences, female leadership, strategic planning and internal policy NGO, woman both computer technologies and much other.
- Step #1: Realization of 8 educational seminars/trainings on themes: the Kazakhstan Women's Information Network. The help in drawing up of the application on receiving of the grant. Modern information technologies (Internet, e-mail).

We appeal to you with the request to support the Kazakhstan Women's Information Network.
