INTERNATIONAL YOUTH SUMMER CAMP

The Business Center in Taldykorgan, Kazakstan, is pleased to invite you to visit Kazakstan and participate in th International Youth Summer Camp.

The Camp has the aim of bringing together young people from different countries

• to have daily practice of Russian and English;
• to participate in training on tourism;
• to work in a team;
• to go on hikes and interesting walks;
• to organize daily activities, including:
  - Fancy Ball;
  - the Olympic Games;
  - treasure hunting;
  - shooting an amateur movie;
  - and other activities.

PARTICIPANTS

School and university students and young specialists from Kazakstan as well as foreign students and volunteers.

TENT CAMP

The tent camp is located in a picturesque mountain gorge 2,500 m above sea level, 310 km from Almaty. Tekeli is the nearest town. It is the region on the border with China. The region, untouched by the civilization and organized tourism, has kept its virgin cleanleness, variety of flora and fauna, rich cultural and historical heritage.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• elementary knowledge of English;
• age 16+;
• medical insurance policy;
• good health necessary to walk for 10 km; and go to elevations as high as 3,500 m.

LIVING CONDITIONS

• spacious tent;
• three meals a day;
• hot shower;
• qualified medical help if necessary.

COST

$380 USD. All prices include accomodation, meals, registration documents necessary to enter the frontier zone, transportation costs: meeting and seeing you off at Almaty International Airport, return transportation from Almaty to the camp by car as well as luggage transportation. PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE TRAVEL INSURANCE, VISAS AND AIRFARE.

PROGRAM DURATION: 4 sessions 12 days each

1 session 5.07.99 - 17.07.99.
2 session 17.07.99 - 29.07.99.
3 session 29.07.99 - 10.08.99.
4 session 10.08.99 - 22.08.99.

The number of participants is limited to 6 foreign participants in each session.
