Partnering for Results, Johns Hopkins University

 

The Johns Hopkins University, Institute for Policy Studies, Center for Civil Society Studies, is pleased to announce its next Partnering for Results Institute from June 5-8, 2000, an exciting opportunity for nonprofit staff and board members, corporate philanthropy professionals, government managers, business professionals, and community leaders worldwide interested in creating effective partnerships.

Drawing on a unique body of research on intersectoral relationships, Partnering for Results is designed to teach participants how to forge partnerships that go beyond "project partnerships" to produce sustainable changes in institutions, situations, and communities. Using a combination of simulations, case studies, experiential activities, and participatory techniques, the faculty will provide clear-cut guidance on creating partnerships that are strategic investments which will pay dividends over time to nonprofits, businesses, government, and communities.
