IREX, a non-profit in international education and training seeks summer interns to provide administrative support for its academic exchanges and research division.About IREX
Since 1958, IREX and its predecessor organization, the Inter-University Committee on Travel Grants, have administered advanced field research and professional training exchanges between the United States and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the Baltic region, the Caucasus, Central Asia, Russia, Ukraine, Mongolia, and China. Committed to international education in its broadest sense, IREX's efforts encompass academic research, professional training, institution building, technical assistance, and policy programs with universities and other organizational partners in the region.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Assisting with conferences, orientations, and training programs;
- Conducting development research via the Internet and other sources;
- Drafting program activity reports and publications;
- Assisting with database maintenance; and
- Aiding with general administrative tasks.

- Enrolled in Bachelor or Masters Degree program;
- Interested in the NIS/CEE region;
- Available to work 20-40 hours per week;
