IRD Director of Program Development Position

 

GlobalCorps is assisting International Relief and Development (IRD) with some of their D.C. based positions.

IRD currently has a need for one person for the position of Director of Program Development. IRD is a small but quickly growing PVO with field offices in Georgia, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Croatia. The full position description is as follows:

Director of Program Development

International Relief and Development (IRD), an international PVO with headquarters in Washington, DC, is seeking a senior level Director of Program Development (DPD) to provide strategic direction for IRD's programs. The DPD reports directly to IRD's President and is responsible for the development and submission of major grant proposals. The DPD should have approximately 10 years of PVO and/or US government international experience; excellent written and verbal communication skills; skills and experience in project design and proposal writing; and strong organizational and administrative skills. The DPD should have extensive contacts with US government agencies and international organizations. A Masters degree is preferred but not required. Salary is commensurate with experience. U.S. Citizenship is required. Please submit materials by May 30, 2000.
