The International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES) has a paid internship available in support of the program staff of the IFES/Russia project. The qualified intern must have excellent oral and written communication skills, a knowledge of Russian and/or Eastern European politics, and some understanding of the Russian language. The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks is highly desirable.The intern will: Report to the Russia Project Program Officer and Senior Program Assistant; Provide administrative support on all IFES/Russia projects; Maintain the Russia Database and files collection; Collect relavent elections news on a daily basis, and maintain files of monthly news reports; Fulfill other duties as assigned. If currently in a degree program, the intern may also conduct a research project on a subject relevant to the current work of the IFES Russia Project.
