In support of its current research project on Human Security and Global Governance (HUGG), the Toda Institute for Global Peace and Policy is offering three Doctoral Fellowships in the amount of $5,000 each for 2000-01. Interested doctoral candidates are invited to apply by sending a one-page copy of their doctoral thesis proposal along with a resume and a letter of recommendation from their thesis advisor. Proposals that have a direct bearing on the topics of concern to the HUGG Project will be given high priority.The competition is open to all doctoral students regardless of their citizenship and institutional affiliation. The deadline for applications is September 1, 2000.
