Gender/Women's Studies Translation Grants: 1998


The Open Society Institute (OSI) Network Women's Program and the OSI Center for Publishing Development are pleased to announce a competition to support the translation of gender/women's studies books. A grant fund of $100,000 is available to promote local-language access to international gender/women's studies books.

Publishers in the following countries are invited to apply: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Hercegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Yugoslavia.
