The International Youth Cooperation Center Passage-Zebra announces a truly unique opportunity to join with youth from all over the world in building a sculpture garden dedicated to Antoine de Saint-Exupery's novel, The Little Prince, in Voronezh, Russia during summer 2000.Passage-Zebra has four years of experience in organizing international youth workcamps in Voronezh. Their newest project is being supervised by the French sculptor Jean-Marc de Pas, and is supported by the Saint-Exupery Foundation, the French Consulate in Russia, and also by Voronezh authorities.
Volunteers need to pay for their own travel to and from Voronezh, but once they arrive, the camp (including food, accommodations, recreation and cultural programs) is free. Participants may come anytime between June 28 and September 21, 2000; proposed sessions last three weeks, but volunteers can make their own schedules.
Volunteers must speak at least one of the following languages: English, Russian, French, or German and must be over 16 years of age.
For more information and for an application form, please look at the project's web page at www.comch.ru/~zebra or email [email protected].
